Admission can only be purchased at the entrance to the gardens,  you can not purchase tickets in advance.

Green Island Gardens is the perfect place for your next group social or outing, even if you are not horticulturally minded. The vast grounds, meandering paths and stunning beds create an enjoyable and relaxing day out, especially when in the company of friends. We hosts groups ranging from small up to a large coach, and have a wide range of options to cater to each group's requirements; including options such as exclusive access visits, private tours, evening visits, buffet meals, or cream/afternoon teas, plus= much more. So, why not consider us for you next social day out. Discounted tickets are available for groups over 20.

Season Tickets 

These tickets give you unlimited access to our Gardens for the calendar year. Holders of our season tickets receive regular Green Island Gardens updates and discounts on our courses.

Our season tickets make a great gift for family and friends, purchase one today for someone special and treat them to a whole year of days out.

Types of Tickets:
Single - entry to named person only
Double - entry to named person plus one guest
Double in 2 names-  enables either holder to use the card without the other and
                                     bring a guest.
Family - choose either a double or single, then select number of named children to be covered

 Frequently Asked Questions

Is the ground flat? Can I use a wheelchair or walker?

Yes! the grounds are reasonably flat with only slight undulations. We also have wheelchairs available for loan should the 20 acres be too large

Can you bring dogs?

Sorry, we do not allow dogs, except assistance dogs

Is there parking?

We have plenty of on-site parking

Can I use the tearoom or nursery without purchasing admission?

Yes.

Do you do guided tours?

Yes! We offer groups and individuals the chance to walk the garden with owner and designer Fiona Edmond. These tours generally last between 1h15m to 1h45m, and cost £60.00. Please contact us for availability

I am not local, could you recommend a place to stay?

We recommend booking one of our Airbnb properties, which you can find through the Airbnb website.

When can I use my Gardener's World 2 for 1 card?

Gardener's World 2 for 1 cards are vaild at Green Island Gardens from September until December 15th

Do you offer a discount for a carer?

Carers receive free admission on presentation of a carer's card, or proof that they receive a carer's allowance.

Why Do Group Visits Have to Pre-Order Food?

We request a pre-order for groups over 10 for a few reasons, mainly to ensure that we have sufficient supplies, as our food is based on fresh produce we have to special order in extra supplies to cater for a larger number. Secondly, our team is very small often only 1 or 2 members of staff will care for the tearoom & food preparation. Without a pre-order, lunches would take a significantly longer time to prepare resulting in very long wait times, for your group as well as our other customers. We understand that this requirement is additional work for the organiser but strongly believe that it positively enhances the whole garden visit experience for your group.
