Compact theoretical course covering all aspects of garden design from start to finish, including survey, design process, drawing outline proposals and planting.
Wednesday 26th March -
Planting for All Year Colour
An enlightening 1 day course where you will learn how to plant your garden so that it looks good and is full of colour for the whole year.
Wednesday 17th September -
Propagation Workshop
A practical course. demonstrating many different methods of propagating new plants.
(Not suitable for people with limited mobility)

Easter Egg Hunt

A truly egg-citing activity for all! Hunt for Eggs throughout the gardens in all their Spring glory, the possibility of chocolate-y prizes are eggs-tremely likely!
*Participation to the Easter egg is hunt included in entry fee.
Plant Fair with the Plant Fairs Roadshow
Sunday 4th May 11am-4pm
Join us for our first ever Plant Fair in conjunction with the Plant Fairs Roadshow - a group of specialist growers and award winning nurseries who organise plant fairs and events in the South East.
An unmissable opportunity to purchase an array of unusual plants from knowledgable and passionate growers.

Spring & Summer Fayre

These open air craft fayres are two of our favourite annual events, where local stallholders showcase their work in amongst the gardens in all their late Spring and Summer glory. There's something for everyone and both events are a great day out to be enjoyed by all.

Green Island Gardens could be the venue for you! Our grounds create a stunning backdrop for a whole range of events including Weddings, Bar Mitzvahs, Funeral Wakes, Baby Showers, Children's and Adults Birthday Parties, and Anniversaries.
Each function is tailored to your requirements. We will build the package to suit your needs ranging from basic venue hire to Victorian afternoon tea party or large evening function with hog roast, music and dancing.

Weddings
Green Island Gardens currently does not hold a license for traditional wedding ceremonies, however we are able to hold alternative ceremonies and wedding receptions.

Paigles Cottage at Green Island Gardens, our two bedroom cottage.
